Your thinking journey
For grown-ups
What this is
Thirty short sets of thinking games: matching, sorting, cause and effect, problem solving, patterns, sequencing and everyday “why” questions. Each day is a handful of little challenges, about 10–15 minutes. It is practice and play — there are no scores, and nothing here is a test.
How to use this resource
- Try one short session at a time.
- Give your child time to answer before you step in.
- Let them ask questions — and ask them “how did you know?”
- Use real objects when it helps: two cups, a sock and a spoon, a seed in a pot.
- Give a hint rather than the answer. The clue button does this too.
- It is fine to stop before finishing a day. Their place is saved.
- Replaying days is useful — each time deals a slightly different mix.
- There is no need to do one day every day. Go at whatever pace suits you.
When an answer is not the one
The screen says “Not this one” and offers a clue, then a stronger clue, then shows the answer with the reason. Nobody gets stuck, and nothing is counted against them.
Their name
Optional. It is only used to say hello on this device.
What is saved
Which days are finished and where you stopped, on this device only. No account, no name sent anywhere, and not which answers were tapped.
Start the journey again
This clears the finished days on this device. It cannot be undone.
This is an educational activity for all children — autistic and non-autistic alike. It is not a treatment, therapy or assessment, and finishing it is not a measure of anything.
